Website Accessibility Policy

Our commitment
AlphaLogic Career College is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible online experience for students, prospective students and all visitors to our website, www.alphalogic.ca.
We believe everyone should be able to access information about our programs and services with dignity and independence. We work to identify, prevent and remove accessibility barriers, guided by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and applicable accessibility requirements.
Website accessibility
Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. These guidelines help make website content easier to perceive, navigate, understand and use for people with a range of disabilities.
Our ongoing accessibility efforts focus on:
- Clear headings, readable content and consistent navigation.
- Keyboard access to menus, links and forms.
- Appropriate colour contrast and visible keyboard focus.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Clear form labels, instructions and error messages.
- Compatibility with assistive technologies, including screen readers.
- Accessible information and alternatives for documents and multimedia.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As our website evolves, we aim to review new content and features and address barriers brought to our attention.
UserWay accessibility tools
We use UserWay accessibility tools to support the best possible browsing experience and give visitors additional ways to adjust the website to their needs.
Visitors can open the accessibility menu using the accessibility icon on the website. Depending on the tools available, options may include adjusting text size, colour contrast and text spacing, highlighting links and using reading aids.
These tools supplement our work to improve the website’s underlying accessibility. They do not replace accessible design, assistive technology or ongoing accessibility reviews. You do not need to use the UserWay tools to request assistance or an accessible alternative.
Accessible information and communication
If you need information from our website in an accessible format or require communication support, please contact us.
We will consult with you to understand your needs and work to provide a suitable format or support in a timely manner, at no additional cost. This may include information about our programs, admissions, course schedules or other college services.
If a particular format cannot be provided, we will explain why and work with you to identify an appropriate alternative.
Third-party content
Our website may link to or include content provided by other organisations, such as maps, videos or external documents. Accessibility may vary across these services.
If you encounter a barrier with third-party content connected to our programs or services, please let us know so we can help you access the information or find an alternative.
Feedback and assistance
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our website. If you experience difficulty accessing a page, completing a form or using a website feature, please contact us:
Email: info@alphalogic.ca
Telephone: 519-858-0010
Contact page: www.alphalogic.ca/contact-us/
When reporting a problem, please include the page address, a brief description of the difficulty and your preferred way for us to respond. If helpful, you may also tell us which browser or assistive technology you were using. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis.
We will review your feedback, work to address the issue and help you access the information or service you need. Accessible formats and communication supports are also available for our feedback process upon request.
Policy review
We will review this policy periodically and update it as our website, accessibility practices and applicable requirements evolve. This policy is available in an accessible format upon request.
